Vibration specialist is a person who is into vibration analysis. Vibration analysis is the technique of monitoring and analyzing vibrations in a machine in-order to check whether the machine is working properly or not. A vibration specialist is hired for the same and his job profile includes analyzing and monitoring the vibrations, to diagnose the symptoms as well as the problems in the machine and suggest preventive measures to possible avoid failure or if that is not avoidable suggest necessary repairs of the same.

ROLE - His major role is to analyze the vibration data of doubtful machines as well as getting proper rechecks and baseline reading on the doubtful results. It also includes vibration data collection on       pre-defined routes, differentiating problems and symptoms that keep reoccurring, review the collected data for any kind of anomalies, all the work to be done strictly with compliance to safety policies, suggesting corrective measures to the operation personnel for maintenance and last but not the least regular discussion and communication with supervisors regarding concerns, questions and overall work progress. A vibration specialist works in a way that the company has to spend minimum amount of money on maintenance, repairs or replacement of machines and ensures that the machines work smoothly without any problems.
